In 1984 “De Jenna” opened its doors. Being a blooming business for over 40 years, Jenna herself is still at work with the same warmth and passion she has had for the last 40 years, and more to come!
40 years of history
Our shop started out in the indoor shopping center of Leuven in 1984. Back then we sold clothing, watches and jewelry. Jenna was mostly passionate and ambitious about piercings. She started to pierce, in the shop and found her calling. Back then piercings were still placed by using a gun, while our client sat in a chair in the middle of the shop. She enjoyed making her clients sparkle with that extra finishing touch to their outfits.
Jenna’s passion grew and so did the shop. In 1988 the shop relocated to a new bigger location just outside the shopping center. Here we expanded the shop and had room for more jewelry and were able to place more piercings.
In 1993 Jenna hired a 23 year old girl called Fabienne. She quickly became a staple in the shop and the Jenna family. Today she can still be found in the shop placing all sorts of piercings. She has 30 years of experience and is refered to by Jenna as her right hand. To this day Jenna and Fabienne remain to be the beating heart of the shop. They have been piercing you with great joy for over 30 years.
In 2016 the shop moved once again to the beautiful location we are at now. The shopping center was closing and all the shops had to leave. Jenna was one of the last shops of the shopping center to remain open. It was a bittersweet move because the new shop was going to be modern and stylish, a completely different vibe than that it used to have. The old shop held a lot of beautiful memories for Jenna and reminded her of the growth she had gone through in the past years.

where “we love to pierce you” all day everyday
